  • SurSur is a fresh and fruity Grillo with a young spirit. The name comes from the classical Arabic language, once spoken in Sicily. On the label, a small work of art like all those proposed by the Sicilian company, we admire a fundamental detail of the woman in flight. It is her foot, naked on the grass, that we want to imagine engaged in the first fatal step towards escape. This image recounts, for those who know the company well, the escapes of the founder Gabriella Anca Rallo, still a child, running barefoot among the flowers and fresh grass, following the song of the crickets. Brilliant straw yellow in colour, this wine offers a fresh bouquet on the nose with distinct notes of white-fleshed fruit, such as peach and the classic cantaloupe melon, combined with hints of wild flowers and mint. On the palate it is smooth, with a return of the fruity notes combined with a pleasant freshness.

One of the first women in Sicily to produce wine, in a sector typically dominated by men. A true pioneer of quality wine-growing by women.
