When you think of Sardinia, as well as the sea and 'porceddu', you inevitably end up remembering one of the region's many good wines. White or red, Sardinian wines are often the result of the vinification of grapes typical of the region. Varieties that express themselves best in the heart of the Mediterranean, thanks to a happy mix of environmental conditions. Among the typical vines, there is one that most people might not immediately remember. It is Nuragus, which, strangely enough, is still the most widely cultivated vine in Sardinia today, even if recent years have seen a gradual trend towards a reduction in the area under cultivation. Today, Nuragus is mainly found in the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano. A rustic vine that adapts easily to any terrain, it is a very generous grape. Straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals a pleasantly fruity, fragrant and harmonious character. In the mouth it is full, soft and rich.
