"Elibaria" Vermentino di Gallura DOCG 2023
    • Elibaria is a Vermentino di Gallura that comes from grapes grown by the Contini family in vineyards located over 200 metres above sea level. The climate in this area is typically Mediterranean, characterized by mild winters and warm, breezy summers. Ideal conditions to allow the grapes to reach a perfect state of healthy ripeness. In the glass, it is a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, the main aromas are fruity and floral, enriched by notes of aromatic herbs reminiscent of Sardinia. In the mouth it is fresh and pleasantly drinkable. A wine that only needs to be served chilled to successfully accompany an entire lunch (or dinner) based on fish.

There are many small Italian wineries that have grown and developed over the years thanks to the passion handed down from father to son. Among these, a place of honour goes to the Sardinian Contini, founded in 1898 and since then jealously guarded by members of the historic Oristano family. First Salvatore, then Attilio, today Paolo and grandsons Alessandro and Mauro. Four generations. For over a century, the Contini name has been identified with Vernaccia di Oristano. Over the years, Vernaccia has been joined by other important productions, such as Nieddera, Vermentino and Cannonau. Today the Company is a solid regional reality, able to sell its good products in many different markets. But it is on the island, a few kilometres from the sea, that Contini's heart continues to beat. And all you have to do to understand that is to uncork any of their bottles. They have Sardinia in them!
