It is called Kebrilla and is a pure Grillo, Sicilia DOC, proposed by Cantine Fina. Grillo is one of Sicily's oldest vines, encapsulating the aromas and sensations of this magical land. The grapes that give life to this wine come from vineyards located in western Sicily, at an altitude ranging from 150 to 450 metres above sea level. The climate here is Mediterranean, with long, warm, breezy summers and mild winters. Ideal conditions for producing a fresh and aromatic wine. Harvested at the end of August when perfectly ripe, vinification takes place partly in steel and partly in barriques, to give the wine complexity and structure. The wine then matures for three months in the bottle before being ready for tasting. Kebrilla has a brilliant straw yellow colour. The nose reveals an intense and complex bouquet, with floral, citrus and white-fleshed fruit notes. In the mouth it is fresh and savoury, with a pleasant minerality. The finish is persistent and aromatic. Ideal with fish, shellfish and crustaceans, it also goes well with fresh cheese and risotto. It is also suitable as an aperitif.
