The Di Majo Norante winery, thanks also to the skilful collaboration of its oenologist Riccardo Cottarella, has once again shown itself to be particularly attentive to the promotion of local Molise vines. A fine example of this is this organic Falanghina DOC, produced from grapes that are grown according to a protocol that is attentive to sustainability and healthiness. The result is a wine that, thanks also to the processing carried out exclusively in steel, can be defined as authentic and genuine. Golden straw yellow with greenish reflections, this Falanghina has fresh and pleasant aromas, with clear hints of broom. In the mouth, the taste is ample, with a pleasant bitterish aftertaste that may remind of pomegranate. A simple but not banal wine, it is suitable to accompany the whole meal. Its ideal combination is with fish and shellfish, but it can also be served as an aperitif or to accompany a tasty club sandwich.
Di Majo Norante has been making wine from its own grapes since 1800, as evidenced by the cellars under the square and in the old family palace in Campomarino.
