A Blanc de Noirs from Champagne. So a sparkling wine, classic method, white but made from black grapes. Cuvée Christiane, from Maison Cheurlin Dangin, is made from the vast majority of Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards located in the Aube, south of the Champagne appellation area, in the Ource, Arce and Seine valleys. Different plots, planted on different soils, give the grapes distinctive characters. The bases, in this case, are matured in oak barrels, acquiring greater complexity and depth. Processed according to the traditional method, the second fermentation and subsequent ageing on the lees takes place in the bottle. In the glass one discovers a beautiful wine characterised by a brilliant golden yellow colour, with fine bubbles forming uninterrupted chains. The nose reveals a wine with a pleasantly vinous and ripe character, with distinctive aromas of brioche and apple. A slight toasting, due to the passage in wood, gives it a touch of elegance.
