      "Kra'tere" Falanghina Brut
    • Kra'tere is a fine example of how a grape variety indigenous to Campania, the Falanghina, if well processed, can give rise to wines of great pleasure. In this case, a Charmat sparkling wine, fresh and fragrant, proposed in a Brut version. The base wine comes from a pure processing of Falanghina Campi flegrei DOC grapes that bring with them all the flavour and aromatic richness of the volcanic soils on which they are grown. The delicate fermentation in autoclave lasts for about 4 months, during which the wine remains in contact with its yeasts. Straw yellow in colour tending to golden, the delicate perlage, particularly subtle and abundant, can be appreciated in the glass. On the nose, one discovers a pleasantly fruity and floral wine, with distinct bread crust aromas. The taste is dry, with a pleasant, decisive fruity and acidulous note. From the aperitif to the table, this 'Made in Campania' sparkling wine will certainly please everyone. It goes well with fish and shellfish dishes, crostini with vegetables and patés.

The Azienda Agricola CantaVitae is located in Marano di Napoli. Running the winery is a young agronomist and oenologist, Michelangelo Schiattarella, a true wine craftsman. The company's vineyards are located in different areas of the region. The fundamental choice, in fact, was to link the grapes to the territory of origin. From the Campi Flegrei, therefore, come the Piedirosso and Falanghina varieties used for the production of DOC wines. From Sannio, on the other hand, come Aglianico and Falanghina, while Primitivo comes from the Aurunci area, straddling lower Lazio and the province of Caserta. The core of the activities, however, takes place in the cellar. The white and red wines follow different procedures and different timetables. Each bunch is carefully selected and processed in full respect of the raw material. Each vat is followed and monitored at all stages, so that the wines can reach the delicate stage of ageing, at the right time, without stress.
