  • Pink is in fashion. And at Vitivinicola Fangareggi they certainly didn't miss the opportunity to give us another great Lambrusco. V.gna Rosa, Lambrusco Rosato dell'Emilia IGP, is a wine that can easily be described as contemporary. But with strong roots in tradition. It is made from a blend of 85% Lambrusco di Sorbara, 10% Fortana, a black grape variety characteristic of Emilia-Romagna that seems to have origins in Burgundy, and 5% Pinot Noir. The grapes, having reached perfect ripeness, are harvested by hand to carefully select only the best and healthiest bunches. Then, after vinification, the traditional "presa di spuma" is carried out in an autoclave at a low temperature. The result is a wine characterised by an intriguing dark sugared pink colour, and super intense aromas reminiscent of rose petals and notes of fresh fruit and bread crust. In the mouth, it is fresh, well-structured and has a long persistence. Soft and fun, V.gna Rosa is the wine that tempts you to fill your glass again and again, from aperitifs to main courses. Again, the advice is to never be found without a second (or better still a third) bottle.

    Vitivinicola Fangareggi, without risk of any denial, can be considered a fine family business. Farmers since the 1800s, they have been cultivating Lambrusco grapes for over a century. The real turning point, however, the birth of the farm that we know today, dates back to 2005 when Giuseppe decided to take up this ancient tradition, starting again from the teachings of his grandparents and great-grandparents. Today Vitivinicola Fangareggi can count on 8 vineyards of its own, divided into 5 municipalities and 2 provinces, between Reggio and Modena. The aim is to work each variety in its ideal terroir, enhancing the qualities of the fruit. The principles of advanced integrated pest management are applied in the vineyard, with limited interventions and only mechanical weeding, thus reducing the impact in the vineyard to a minimum.
