Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG 2022

Azienda Agricola San Benedetto offers this pleasant Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, the result of a careful selection of grapes from the estate vineyards. Produced only with the best bunches harvested by hand when the right balance of sugar and acidity is reached, this Vernaccia has the right character to accompany lunches and dinners with friends with satisfaction. Once in the cellar, the grapes are softly pressed. The must obtained is then fermented at a low temperature and, at the end of the transformation, the wine is left to mature for a long time on its own yeasts. The result is a beautiful wine characterised by a lively straw-yellow colour. The nose is fresh and fruity, with hints of apple, apricot and acacia flowers. In the mouth it is harmonious and savoury, with a pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. On the table it goes perfectly with hors d'oeuvres, soups and white meats. Also ideal with fish dishes.
