An international white wine in a region that is world-famous for its native reds? Yes. A challenge taken up by Pecchenino with this Riesling that is born on the hills of Langa, where at most one could expect clusters of Arneis or Cortese. And challenge passed with flying colors, let's be clear. The grapes come from the vineyards of Bossolasco, in the hills. Harvest at a perfect state of ripeness and simple but careful vinification in steel. Then, before bottling, the wine is left to mature, again in steel, for about 9 months in contact with its fine lees. A process that closely resembles that used for the great French and German Rieslings. The result? A wine with a lively straw yellow color, and sensations on the palate and nose of mineral, crisp fruit, herbs and especially hydrocarbons. A real treat for fans of the style.
