Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Famiglia Pasqua is the child of one of the most suitable territories for wine production. Valpolicella, a land of vineyards that extends north-west of Verona, in fact enjoys a mild microclimate due to the protection of the Alps and the proximity of Lake Garda. These conditions favour a perfect ripening of the grapes. Deep red in colour, the bouquet is sweet and complex, with notes of fresh fruit, sour cherries and vegetable nuances. In the mouth it reveals remarkable length, with balsamic and herbal notes and silky, velvety tannins. Good even today, this Amarone can be kept in the cellar for up to 15 years, enjoying great aromatic evolution. In any case, on the table it pairs well with savoury meat dishes, such as braised meats or game. It is also perfect with mature cheeses, which can enhance its complexity.
