It is called Linarius, and is a 95% Syrah, with Sangiovese and Colorino for the remainder. Toscana IGT, it is proposed by Leonardo Da Vinci, one of the fine realities born to enhance the rich wine heritage of our country. Specifically, it belongs to the collection known as Villa da Vinci, which is made from grapes grown in the vineyards surrounding Villa da Vinci, in the green countryside where Leonardo grew up and began to cultivate his passion for wine-growing. In this case, each label takes a detail from the Annunciation, a painting inspired by the hilly landscapes of Vinci. Linarius, specifically, comes from the selection of the best Syrah grapes, grown in the estate's vineyards, the highest expression of the varietal. A red of beautiful intensity and lustre, this Tuscan has the typical aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries and berries. All enhanced by delicate but well-present hints of sweet spices. In the mouth it is fragrant and intense. Rich in fruit and with a long spicy finish. Awarded several times by international critics, this Tuscan Syrah is the right wine to accompany tasty red meat dishes.
