Rosso di Montalcino Campaperi is a near Brunello. In fact, it derives from the same grapes, harvested in the same vineyard, at the same time. Only a part of the wine, at the end of the fermentation, is separated and aged for about 15 months in 30-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. Compared to its older brother, Brunello, it is a simpler and more immediate wine. Superb structure and qualities of particular vivacity and freshness.
