Say Sauvignon and you immediately think of Friuli. Say quality Sauvignon and you can't help but think about Borgo Conventi's Sauvignon. A wine of absolute pleasantness characterized by a beautiful straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections that make us immediately think of a product of great freshness and immediacy. The nose is absolutely academic in its more typically varietal notes. Intense and rich, it ranges from vegetal notes of green pepper and tomato leaf to sweeter hints of ripe fruit such as peach and apricot. A particularly rich bouquet is completed by finer scents of white flowers and hints of flint. In the mouth it has great personality and enjoys a long, dry finish that prolongs the pleasure of drinking for several seconds.
