This Chardonnay proposed by Borgo Conventi comes from the Isonzo area. Rich soils capable of giving life to intense vines in terms of aromas and perfumes. Once fully ripe, the grapes are brought to the cellar to be transformed within a few hours of harvesting. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature activated by selected yeasts, at the end of vinification this wine rests, again in stainless steel tanks, until the spring following the harvest, when it is finally bottled. Straw yellow in colour with good intensity, the nose magnificently combines a lively, fragrant and fruity aroma. In the mouth it reveals a good structure, with a light aftertaste reminiscent of fresh almonds. Excellent to drink young, it can also age for a few years in the bottle. On the table it requires an elegant and appetizing combination, such as shellfish or seafood.
