    • Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, Chardonnay. In this case Sirch deals with one of the most versatile grape varieties in the world, and does so in an exemplary manner as always. The grapes are harvested when they have reached phenolic ripeness, taking care not to lose their freshness. The grapes are destemmed and softly pressed and the resulting must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. At the end of this phase, the wine remains for a few months on the lees in steel tanks and periodically undergoes bâtonnage. It is then bottled and left to refine in the bottle for some time before being put on the market. Straw yellow in colour with golden notes, this Chardonnay presents an intense, broad and enveloping bouquet. An intense bouquet of cream and baked goods with distinct floral notes that blend with hints of ripe fruit and tropical fruit. In the mouth, then, a pleasantly complex but fresh wine is revealed. Good persistence and a pleasant aftertaste of white and yellow pulp fruit. Suitable for an aperitif, it should absolutely be tried with a plate of scallops.

The typical Sirch wines are fresh and young wines that know how to interpret tradition in a modern way and express the variety of the best wine expressions of the region. Today Sirch is one of Friuli's finest and exports its wines to several countries.
