  • Sensations Bright straw yellow in colour, the nose has a clear and pleasant tropical vein and an important note of ripe fruit (pear, white peach). Freshness, savouriness and minerality give way to a unique persistence on the palate due to the characteristic and appetising acidity of this wine.

    Pinot Grigio Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2023
  • Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, this wine comes from a pure processing of Pinot Grigio grapes, a vine originating from Burgundy, introduced in Italy in the 19th century. It derives, curiously enough, from the mutation of Pinot Noir, which took place in the early 1960s. In Friuli Venezia Giulia it finds its ideal habitat, especially in the cooler areas of the hills to the north of the Colli Orientali zone. And it is certainly the most successful Friulian wine in the world. The one proposed here by Sirch is a very traditional version, characterised by a beautiful bright yellow colour with slight pinkish reflections. The nose reveals an elegant, complex and enveloping bouquet. Floral hints of jasmine and white wisteria blend with notes of ripe fruit, apricot, melon and white peach. All made even more intriguing thanks to balsamic notes. In the mouth it is complex and harmonious, fresh and enveloping. Its subtle sapidity gives it freshness and persistence. A super versatile wine, it is suitable for a simple aperitif but also to accompany a formal lunch or dinner. The combination with white meats, such as roast rabbit, should also be tried.

    A deep bond with tradition. This is the real fil-rouge of the entire activity of Sirch, the Friulian company that today belongs to the large Feudi di San Gregorio group. The company was founded in the mid-1950s, when production methods were very different from those of today, but the territory already offered grapes of great quality. Since 1970, the company's vineyards have belonged to the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC (which since 2011 has been called Friuli Colli Orientali). With the new millennium, Sirch restructured the winery, invested in new land and increased production and the number of bottles. The typical Sirch wines are fresh and young wines that know how to interpret tradition in a modern way and express the variety of the best wine expressions of the region. Today Sirch is one of Friuli's finest and exports its wines to several countries.
