Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a large rock formation located in central Australia. It is one of the best-known and best-loved natural monuments on the far continent. It is characterized by a very bright red colouration that, during sunsets, seems to almost burst into flames. The nose reveals aromas of plums, the ever-present black pepper and a handful of other sweet spices. In the mouth it manages to stay fresh and fruity. The tannins are nicely ripe and velvety, with notes of berries, black cherries, roasted coffee and vanilla. A glass of satisfaction that can accompany a second course based on game or well-aged cheeses.
