Modern in concept and appearance, this Pinot Noir Aussie is certainly not inspired by the serious models of Burgundy. A wine designed and produced to be enjoyable just a few months after release. A wine that plays everything on the richness of its aromas and ease of drinking. Vinification is simple and involves maceration of the skins for about a week. During the entire time the cap is constantly kept in motion to encourage all possible extraction of color and tannins. After racking, a quick refinement in barrels follows and then off to be bottled. The result? A bright and lively ruby red. A richly fruity nose with clear aromas of cherries, strawberries, raspberries and a slight hint of underbrush. In the mouth, the fruity character perceived earlier is found again, with a subtle hint of vanilla that makes it more intriguing.
