At a first distracted glance, reading the label of this wine without paying too much attention, one might think that it is a typical Australian red wine made from Shiraz, or Syrah, grapes. But the indication of the varietal on the bottle should not mislead. In fact, we are dealing with an excellent product that is definitely from our home, from the Castelli Romani area. Organic and Federici-labeled. Syrah, in fact, has adapted very well to these parts and, worked with wisdom, it can express itself at truly high levels. To the eye the Syrah Ule has a beautiful, very concentrated, ruby red colour. The nose is a symphony of red fruit and flowers, with the typical memory of spices and in particular black pepper and liquorice. In the mouth it is soft and rich. It has structure and balance, thanks to the natural freshness that balances the alcohol. The tannin is pleasant and silky. You want to be Australian. But luckily you were born in Italy!
