A powerful but balanced red. A Montepulciano of great character the one proposed here by the Abruzzi winery Tollo. A wine obtained from the best grapes harvested at perfect maturity and processed with care. After traditional vinification, the wine rests for over two years in oak barrels. This gives it a remarkable complexity and depth of scents and aromas. In the glass, in fact, it is a beautiful intense ruby red colour, with clear violet reflections that suggest a still very fresh wine, despite the long aging in the cellar. The nose is striking for its power and elegance, with notes of well-ripened red fruits and black cherry. Persistent flavours of spice and vanilla complete the picture. In the mouth it is full, soft and persistent, with sweet and silky tannins. A particularly enjoyable wine to uncork at a nice dinner with friends.
