Umbria Rosato IGT, this little gem from the Perticaia winery is made from pure Sagrantino grapes, harvested by hand in the first week of September. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, after a brief maceration with the skins of 6/8 hours, the grapes are softly pressed whole cluster under inert gas. This is followed by a cold static clarification phase and subsequent white fermentation of the clarified must. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful soft pink colour with lively reflections. The nose reveals charm and freshness, rich as it is with fruity notes such as cherry, strawberry, raspberry and currant, and even a fresh hint of pomegranate. All well combined with floral hints. In the mouth, red fruit notes stand out, with strawberry and cherry aromas combining with an important freshness. Pleasant tannic texture, typical for the variety, and good structure. A wine with excellent persistence, it is a lively rosé, fresh and characterised by a pleasant minerality.
