A historical grape variety of the province of Asti, Ruché La Tradizione by Montalbera is a fascinating page in the history of Piedmontese wine. A reinterpretation respectful of tradition, yet capable of distinguishing itself for an unmistakable sign of clear expressive personality. This pure Ruché is grown in Castagnole Monferrato, and gives rise to a generous, medium-structured and aromatic red wine. Bright red in colour, it acquires orange veins with ageing, losing the purple brushstrokes that shone through in its youth. Intense and persistent bouquet, with typical scents of violets and rose petals; the olfactory profile also changes with the passing of the seasons, turning to pungent and fascinating spicy echoes.
