    • Sensations Intense ruby colour with a marked violet hue. A decidedly fresh and vinous bouquet: the varietal fruity perception of wild blackberry and raspberry overlaps with delicate hints of liquorice. The taste is sincere, balanced and caressing, supported by a slightly herbaceous background. The result is an excellent wine of undoubted freshness that also goes well with fish dishes.
    • Vinification The grapes are destemmed and macerated on the skins at 4°C for a week. The short fermentation that follows takes place in steel vats at controlled temperatures. Maturation and ageing continue until spring in steel.

      "Pucino" Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso DOC 2023
    • An indigenous vine variety that has been around since Roman times, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is one of the symbols of Friulian oenology. It is one of the few red wines that can divert the attention of wine lovers from the many (and good) white wines of the region. After the harvest, the selected grapes are quickly brought to the cellar for processing. The processing begins with destemming and maceration on the skins, which continues for about a week. In the meantime the temperature is kept low, around 4 degrees. This is followed by a short fermentation, in stainless steel, and a maturation and refinement phase, also in stainless steel, which continues until spring. This technique allows Collavini to obtain a red wine of great freshness, suitable for various combinations. From white carmi, for lovers of tradition, to tastier fish such as eel, blue fish, turbot and, why not, even traditional fish soups.

      Collavini is a historic, family-run company in Friuli. But at the same time with an international and innovative spirit. We are located in Corno di Rosazzo, among the hills of the Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC areas. Here Collavini offers a wide range of wines, both sparkling and still, made from native and international grape varieties. Although the variety that most represents the company is undoubtedly Ribolla Gialla. After all, it was back in 1979 that Collavini, thanks to the happy intuition of its founder Manlio (Collavini), started offering it in an interesting sparkling version. And to do so, after years of experimentation, an original sparkling wine-making method was developed that combined the Martinotti-Charmat method with times and techniques reserved for the Metodo Classico. This is the "Metodo Collavini". Today the company can count on a vineyard area of about 170 hectares, from which it produces about one and a half million bottles. And of these, 200,000 are still made from Ribolla Gialla.
