Collavini is a historic, family-run company in Friuli. But at the same time with an international and innovative spirit. We are in Corno di Rosazzo, among the hills of the Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC areas. Here Collavini offers a wide range of wines, both sparkling and still, made from native and international grape varieties. Although the variety that most represents the company is undoubtedly Ribolla Gialla. After all, it was back in 1979 that Collavini, thanks to the happy intuition of its founder Manlio (Collavini), began offering it in an interesting sparkling version. And to do so, after years of experimentation, an original method of sparkling wine making was developed, combining the Martinotti-Charmat method with times and techniques reserved for the Metodo Classico. Today, the company can count on a vineyard area of around 170 hectares, from which it produces around one and a half million bottles. Of these, 200,000 are still made from Ribolla Gialla.
