Champagne Laherte Frères Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature
  • The Champagne Blanc de Noirs Nature from Laherte Frères is a wine of great character and personality. Made from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier grapes, this Blanc de Noirs Nature is distinguished by its vibrant freshness, aromatic complexity and persistence on the palate. Blanc de Noirs, this Champagne is made exclusively from black grapes, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This style is characterised by its robust structure, its aromas of red fruits and spices and its vinosity. The Côte des Bar is a region renowned for its limestone and clay soils, which give the wines a robust structure and distinctive minerality. The Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier that make up this Champagne benefit from a temperate continental climate, with cold winters and warm summers, ideal for their balanced maturation. With zero dosage, this Champagne is classified as Dosage Zéro and its natural lively acidity makes it perfect to accompany a variety of dishes. In the goblet, it has an intense colour. On the nose, it impresses with its complex and fascinating bouquet, dominated by notes of red fruits, spices, white flowers and chalk. In the mouth, the wine is fresh and vibrant, with a fine and persistent bubble. The structure of the Pinot Noir is felt on the finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness and savouriness. It goes well with hors d'oeuvres of cured meats, mature cheeses and first courses with meat sauces. Its freshness and complexity also make it an excellent match for raw or marinated fish dishes.

Maison Laherte Frères, located in Chavot in the Côteaux Sud d'Epernay, is a Champagne estate renowned for its dedication to biodynamic viticulture and the high quality of its wines. Aurélien Laherte, a talented winemaker and leading figure on the BIO Champagne scene, has been able to convert the family business, founded in 1889, to this philosophy, combining tradition and innovation. Today, the company can count on some 17 hectares of vineyards, along the Marne, south of Epernay and in the Côte des Blancs, terroirs suited to the cultivation of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. The conversion to biodynamic agriculture has made it possible to enhance the naturalness of the terroir and to obtain grapes of the highest quality. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation, the use of oak barrels and bâtonnage are favoured to enhance the aromas of the grapes and achieve a perfect balance between sugars and acidity. The result is wines that stand out for their purity, complexity and minerality. Vibrant freshness and elegant structure are common characteristics of all the cuvées, which offer a variety of aromatic and taste nuances.
