  • Sensations The intense, brilliant colour with delicate purple hues translates into a complex aroma of blackberry, cherries in spirit, plum jam and elegant spices on the finish. Warm, soft and rightly tannic on the palate, it goes well with risottos whipped with cheese and butter, grilled beef and mature cheeses.
  • Vinification the grapes are dried in boxes until they lose 50% of their weight. Once destemmed, they undergo post-fermentation cold maceration at a temperature of between 0 and 4°C, lasting 4 to 6 days. This is followed by a temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation process at a maximum of 24°C, for 10-14 days, to allow the fruitiest components to express themselves to the full.

  • It was 1938 when Altero and Maria Franceschini, thinking about the future of their family, decided to start a small wine business. In 1978, all the commitment and tradition was inherited by their children, who set up Enogest: the passion is great and the tenacity is that of someone who was born and raised in the company. Successes were not long in coming: in 1982, in fact, the company's presence on the German market was consolidated for the first time (a winning choice, no doubt).
