    "Kressia" Cagnulari Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2023
  • Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Cagnulari Kressia by Poderi Parpinello. A small oenological gem that absolutely must be tried. This wine, in fact, embodies the thousand-year history of Sardinia and the passion of its winegrowers. The Podere is located in Alghero, not too far from the sea. The Cagnulari, indigenous to the island, bears the influences of the Spanish past. It is cultivated at about 200 metres above sea level, where the sea breezes are able to mitigate the heat of the Sardinian sun. After a carefully selected harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maceration continues for about 10 to 12 days and allows the best possible extraction of the precious aromas and polyphenols. In the glass, Kressia has an intense ruby red colour, reflecting its richness and concentration. On the nose, enveloping aromas of ripe red fruits, accompanied by elegant spicy notes evoking the culinary traditions of Sardinia. In the mouth, it is distinguished by its softness and harmonious structure, with delicate tannins providing balance and persistence. The perfect pairing is with local cured meats or roast red meat, barbecued lamb or Sardinian suckling pig.
