  • One cannot see the Unio di Podere 29 label and remain indifferent. Those clasped hands scarred by time and labor strike you even if you don't want them to. The strength of an Apulian red, son of Nero di Troia and Primitivo could not be better represented. It is aged quickly, just a few months in barriques, to give it that extra bit of complexity. Otherwise it is pure fruit and heat from the sun transformed into alcohol. Red fruit, spices and a hint of coconut are the scents that hit you from the first sip. The softness and balance perceived on tasting will remain clear in our minds for several seconds.
