    • Sensations The ageing on the lees influences the character of the wine, with olfactory notes of small red fruits, pomegranate and raspberry, which integrate well with the fragrant notes of yeast and bread crust. The balanced dosage makes it easy to drink while maintaining its characteristic structure and cleanliness. The sip is crisp and the aftertaste brings us back to the red fruits, with a note of bitter almond.
    • Vinification Some of the grapes are left in contact with the skins to give the wine its characteristic pale pink colour with more intense reflections; after this, the grapes are gently pressed using a Marmonnier press in the Cantine Storiche, where only the heart of the must is vinified. The must from each pressing and batch is fermented both in barriques and in steel tanks until the cuvée is prepared and the wine is racked for the second fermentation in the bottle on the lees for about 40 days. This is followed by ageing on the lees for at least 36 months at a controlled temperature.

    • One of the most elegant rosé sparkling wines is produced in the Langhe, a region that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. We are talking about Alta Langa DOCG 36 mesi Rosé by Fratelli Gancia. The result of a perfect combination of a unique territory, top quality vines and a production tradition that has its roots in 1850. Alta Langa DOCG is a designation of excellence for classic method sparkling wines produced in Piedmont. The regulations require a minimum refinement of 30 months on the yeasts, but for this Rosé Gancia it exceeds this threshold, reaching 36 months of maturation. 100% Pinot Noir grapes, these are harvested by hand and subjected to a soft pressing using the Marmonnier press, a traditional method that preserves the integrity of the skins and aromas. Some of the grapes are left in contact with the skins to give the wine its characteristic pale colour with intense reflections. Only the heart of the must is vinified, partly in barriques and partly in steel tanks. This is followed by the sparkling process in the bottle, and then ageing on the lees for 36 months at a controlled temperature. The bouquet is reminiscent of small red fruits, such as raspberry and pomegranate, well integrated with notes of yeast and bread crust. In the mouth it is crisp and structured, with a finish that recalls red fruits and a pleasant note of bitter almond. A Brut perfect for those seeking freshness and harmony.
