It is one of Sicily's most representative grape varieties. More generally, it is a grape that loves warm climates and proximity to the sea. Generous and versatile, the Inzolia grape is at home in the vineyards of the province of Trapani. Cantine Europa offers it in a particularly pleasant and versatile guise with this Sibiliana Roceno Inzolia, Terre siciliane IGP. Soft vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and ageing, again in stainless steel at a low temperature, before bottling, this white wine was created to enhance the island's fine cuisine and the fruits of its generous sea. Like the fabulous Mazara prawns which, thanks to their sweetness, can also be eaten raw, without even seasoning them. Straw yellow with greenish highlights, it has an intense, enveloping bouquet reminiscent of white-fleshed fruit, with slight herbaceous and mineral hints. In the mouth, on the other hand, it offers a taste of lovely freshness and sapidity. Well balanced in all its components, this white wine has only one defect: it always finishes too early.
