We find ourselves among the rolling hills of Alto Adige, home to the historic Tiefenbrunner winery. A name that, for wine enthusiasts (Italians and others), immediately evokes wines of extraordinary elegance and complexity, the fruit of centuries of experience and profound knowledge of the territory. For more than a century and a half, the Tiefenbrunner family has handed down their passion for wine-growing from generation to generation, carefully cultivating their vineyards and selecting the finest grapes. Today, it is Christof Tiefenbrunner who runs the company together with his wife Sabine. Seventh generation of a dynasty that has made quality its trademark. The winery is based in Niclara, in an ancient 12th century fortress surrounded by a vast park that seems straight out of a fairy tale. Here, among century-old plants, a pond and sculptures from the late 19th century, time seems to stand still. But Tiefenbrunner is not only an enchanted place. It is also an avant-garde company that constantly invests in research and innovation. The winery is equipped with a hydroelectric power station that guarantees energy self-sufficiency, testifying to a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Today, the winery can count on more than 25 hectares, spread over different terroirs that give the wines a wide range of aromas and nuances. In addition to its own vineyards, the company also works with other winegrowers in the area, selecting only the best grapes.
