Puglia has always been a land of great wines. And if these in the past, unfortunately, were little considered by critics, today they have finally reached the right popularity. Thanks also to the commitment of companies such as Vigneti Reale, wine growers in Lecce since 1921. To produce quality, nothing is left to chance. The owners, in fact, control the entire production process, from the vineyard to the bottle. The farm is located in the heart of Salento, one of the most renowned areas for the quality of wines. A total of 250 hectares of property, of which 84 are planted with vines. Here, thanks to a mild climate and a generous soil, grapes rich in colour and sugar come year after year. Grapes that, skilfully worked, give life to wines of superior quality. The most represented varieties are those typical of the region with Negroamaro and Primitivo in first place. Alongside these are the main international grape varieties that benefit from the Apulian microclimate.
