Let French wine purists not hold it against us. We know that Chardonnay is a noble grape variety of Burgundian origin. But, in this case, on the label the word Chardonnay is juxtaposed with 'Italian', indicating the territorial origin of the grapes. This is proposed by Ventiterre, of Zonin, and it is a white of great pleasantness and immediacy. Vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, what one discovers once poured into the glass is a super clean and well-made wine. Pale straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights, it has fresh and elegant aromas. In the mouth, it reveals an intense and refined flavour, with fresh fruity hints reminiscent of peach and pineapple. Pleasant as a light aperitif, it goes well with delicate hors d'oeuvres and fish dishes.
