    • We are in one of the places known throughout the world for the quality of its white wines. We are in Friuli, in the Colli Orientali DOC to be precise. But that's not all. Here we are in the presence of a bottle produced from a grape variety, Ribolla Gialla, which over the years has attracted the sympathy of millions of wine lovers around the world. And we are in the presence of a bottle produced by Tenuta Bastianich, one of the most interesting wineries on the scene. From 15-25 year old vineyards, harvested by hand, the grapes are carefully selected before fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel tanks. As in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for 6 months on fine lees. All this is to allow the vine to express its typical fresh personality to the full. Intense straw yellow, on the nose this white wine expresses fruity and floral notes, with a profile that stands out for its typicality. Pineapple, grapefruit and yellow plum are just some of the scents that can be clearly perceived. In the mouth, it is very fresh and persistent, with a nice acidity and a clear and recognisable minerality. An ideal glass to accompany fried fish, seafood or sushi.

      The Bastianich family, that of the legendary Joe, has a history deeply linked to wine and to Friuli in particular. In fact, since 1997 the Bastianich Estate has been able to count on no less than 40 hectares of vineyards, located in two distinct areas of the DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli. Part of them are on the Buttrio and Premariacco hills, in the hottest and southernmost area of the denomination. Here ripening is influenced by the warmth coming from the sea and the grapes are perfect for the production of the most full-bodied and structured wines. The other part of the estate is located in the hills of Cividale del Friuli and enjoys a completely different climate. Often affected by the Bora, the cold wind from the north, it produces wines with greater aromatic intensity. In the Bastianich wine range there are extremely territorial whites and reds, with some peaks of absolute excellence.
