This is followed by balsamic notes of aromatic herbs. MOUTHFEEL: full-bodied, robust, sapid and mineral, confirms the olfactory notes on the palate.
  • Vinification manual selection of the grapes before destemming followed by soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation on the skins and no addition of sulphites. Malolactic fermentation follows.

    "Natyr" Insolia Terre Siciliane IGT 2018
  • Natyr, Terre Siciliane IGT 100% Insolia, has a very special meaning for Baglio di Pianetto. It is one of the first wines produced by Count Paolo Marzotto's company after the long conversion to organic farming. It was 2013 and Natyr is the first wine offered without being filtered, without added sulfites and made from indigenous yeasts. A deeply territorial wine that recalls everything that is good (and beautiful) about Sicily. Unique personality, citrusy and balsamic, in this wine the Inzolia grape is immediately recognizable. It comes from carefully selected grapes, harvested by hand and destemmed before being sent to the crushing phase. In order not to alter the aromatic framework of the initial fruit, this white wine is not aged in wood after vinification. It remains instead for about 24 months in inert steel containers, in contact with its own native yeasts, waiting to reach the right natural stability. Only then is it bottled. It is not yet time, however, for its release. To reach that point we have to wait at least another year, during which the bottles rest in peace and obscurity inside Cantina del Baglio.
