  • Sensations Straw yellow with light golden reflections. On the nose it is all about broom, pineapple, passion fruit, yellow peach, elegant herbaceous notes and white pepper. On the palate it is agile and very drinkable, a mix of alcoholic roundness with an acidic streak, with a good finish with a return of the fruit amplified by a clear sapid trace.
  • Vinification The grapes, harvested by hand in crates, are immediately transported to the winery and, after further sorting, they are destemmed and cold pressed to allow maceration in the press. The fermentation of the individual masses takes place separately and is deferred in time for the different harvest periods. Each of them lasts more or less 20 days in stainless steel tanks, inside which the maturation is extended by 4 months, at a controlled temperature, thus favoring natural decantation of the fermentation waste. A month before bottling, the various Cuvées are “married”. This is followed by a few weeks of refinement in the bottle before release on the market.

    "Ficiligno" Inzolia-Viognier Sicilia DOC
  • This beautiful organic wine offered by Baglio di Pianetto has always had a place of honor in the heart of Count Paolo Marzotto. In fact, it was the first white wine produced by the company, representing the essence of the territory on which it is grown, rich in minerals. Ficiligno is the name of a characteristic stone of the rural landscape in the Palermo countryside. The cut is, as it is often the case for this Sicilian Winery, a tribute to France. It is made, in fact, from Insolia, or Inzolia, and Viognier grapes. Harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly delivered to the winery to be sheltered from the heat of the Mediterranean summer. Here they are carefully selected and then fermented separately. This phase lasts about 20 days and takes place in stainless steel tanks and continues for a further 4 months of aging.
