Produttori del Barbaresco is a wine cooperative founded in 1958 in the heart of the Langhe region of Piedmont, in the municipality of Barbaresco. Today, this organisation has over 50 members who cultivate 120 hectares of vineyards dedicated exclusively to the Nebbiolo grape variety, the only variety permitted by the strict regulations. Each member cultivates his vineyards with dedication, passing on the skills necessary to obtain high quality grapes from generation to generation. The families deliver their harvests to the cooperative winery, where they are turned into wine. The Barbaresco territory is characterised by rolling hills and calcareous-clayey soil, ideal for the cultivation of high quality grapes. The combination of soil, climate and altitude gives the wines an elegant structure and a distinctive aromatic complexity. The winery enhances the different nuances of the territory through the production of Reserves from specific crus, such as Asili, Montefico, Montestefano, Muncagota, Ovello, Pajè, Pora and Rabajà. These wines, produced only in exceptional years, offer enthusiasts a unique experience, allowing them to appreciate the peculiarities of each vineyard.
