It only takes a few seconds to fall in love with this Hamsa, Lugana DOC proposed by Cristina Bordignon of Cascina Le Preseglie. It is easy because it is a wine with personality, easy to drink and to pair satisfactorily with various fish dishes. Lake Garda, not too far away, creates an ideal environment for the cultivation of grapes, which grow luxuriantly and ripen well under the warm summer sun. When the time comes for the harvest, only the best bunches are carefully selected. Harvesting, in fact, is manual and takes place in boxes. This is followed by careful washing of the bunches, soft pressing and partial cryomaceration for 15 hours at 5 degrees. This allows a perfect extraction of the finest and most elegant aromas, enhanced by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts at controlled temperature. All done with respect for the fruit and with the precise aim of not losing even the smallest nuances of aroma. The result is a wine characterized by a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose has intense fruity aromas, with a slight citrus nuance. In the mouth, however, is well balanced, with alcohol, fruit and acidity that are well integrated to form a whole of great pleasure.
