Alma Assemblage 1 is harmony. Between nature, tradition and innovation. Born in Franciacorta, a unique land, the ideal habitat for viticulture. It is no coincidence that its name has always evoked quality and prestige. In fact, already in the Middle Ages, this area was renowned for its wines. Today Franciacorta DOCG is one of the most prestigious Italian designations for classic method sparkling wines. And Bellavista is without doubt a true point of reference for the territory. Alma Assemblage 1 is a blend of Chardonnay (86%), Pinot Noir (13%) and a very small part of Pinot Blanc. Grapes carefully selected from 60 vineyards owned by the winery. The vines have an average age of 27-28 years, ensuring rich and complex grapes. Harvested by hand and placed in small 13 kg boxes, the grapes are processed within a few hours of arriving at the winery. The free-run must is separated into three fractions, ensuring only the best for Alma. The cuvée is completed by wines aged in oak barrels for 32%, giving it structure and depth. After the tirage, the wine ages on the lees for 30 months, with a manual remuage that perfects each bottle. Appearance Assemblage 1 surprises with its beautiful bright yellow colour and fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, the delicate bouquet of Mediterranean flowers intertwines with lively citrus notes, offering freshness and complexity. On the palate, freshness combines with an enveloping creaminess, with a mineral finish that leaves an elegant and memorable impression. Alma Assemblage 1 is perfect throughout a meal, and goes beautifully with fish dishes, shellfish, creamy risottos or soft cheeses.

The style of the house is impeccable and all the wines have a well-recognisable character. This is guaranteed, from 2024, by none other than the internationally renowned oenologist Richard Geoffroy, for over 20 years the creative mind behind Maison Dom Pérignon. At Bellavista, Geoffroy will carry out the delicate task of mentoring Francesca Moretti, who is in charge of her technical team.
