Cambrugiano is a Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG that has been offered by Cantine Belisario since 1988. And it is one of the wines to which the winery managers are most attached. The one that has given them the greatest emotions. The first Verdicchio of the "Riserva" type, it is the result of careful processing of Verdicchio grapes from the particular Matelica clone with its tightly packed bunches. Vinified using the cryomaceration method, it matures in steel and partly in oak barrels for at least a year. The result is a wine endowed with a beautiful complexity and well representative of its territory. Those hills of the Marche where the sun and the Mediterranean give the wines a unique and recognisable character. Floral and vanilla aromas. Great structure, flavour and harmony. It is a super enjoyable wine that should be served when elaborate fish dishes, white meats and semi-mature cheeses find their place on the table. In short, it certainly does not lack versatility.
