We are in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. Here you'll find Tenuta La Madonnina, acquired by the Triacca family in 1969. The beautiful estate covers a total area of 345 hectares, 100 of which are dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. Originally used as a hunting lodge, the property underwent a significant transformation over the course of a decade, culminating in the first harvest in 1975. Subsequent expansions in 1987 and 1990 helped to consolidate its reputation as a favourite destination for lovers of Chianti Classico. La Madonnina is located at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, a position that favours the cultivation of high quality grapes. The vineyards are composed of 85% Sangiovese, the grape variety that symbolises Tuscany, while the remainder is divided between Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Colorino (5%) and Merlot (3%). This diversification allows the production of wines that best express the characteristics of the territory.
