The hidden gem of the Côte de Sézanne is the estate of Marie Copinet, heir to the renowned Champagne producer Jacques Copinet. It is run today by Marie-Laure together with her husband Alexandre. The vineyards, which cover 9 hectares, are composed of a blend of Chardonnay (45%), Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (20%). Marie-Laure's winemaking style is characterised by great simplicity and immediacy. The aim is to create wines that are an expression of the terroir and the grape variety, without artifice or forcing. The result is a range of elegant and refined Champagnes, characterised by fruity aromas, freshness and pleasant drinkability. Marie-Laure's innovative approach to winemaking has earned her a prominent place on the contemporary Champagne scene. Her wines are appreciated by critics and enthusiasts.
