It conquers at first glance with its antique pink colour and captivates with a perfect harmony of freshness, elegance and depth. We are talking about Alma Assemblage 1 Rosé, the result of the tradition of Bellavista and its team of oenologists. Assemblage 1 Rosé comes from a blend of Chardonnay for 60% and Pinot Noir for the remainder. High-quality grapes from 26 selected vineyards whose vines have an average age of around 28 years. Harvesting, as is customary for the winery, is done by hand. The grapes are harvested in small 13 kg crates to preserve their integrity and once in the cellar are immediately sent for processing. Only the flower must, obtained from the first pressing, is used for this cuvée. Part of the wine, approximately 23%, is aged in oak barrels, adding complexity and depth. After the creation of the cuvée, the wine then rests on the lees for 30 months, acquiring a fine and persistent perlage. In the glass, it has an antique pink colour, brilliant and luminous. The perlage is fine and refined, anticipating a creamy texture. The nose immediately reveals elegant aromas of orange blossom and candied citrus fruits. In the mouth, it is fresh and fragrant, with a perfect balance between acidity and minerality. The finish is long and crystalline. Assemblage 1 Rosé is perfect with seafood hors d'oeuvres, but also with sushi or delicate first courses such as risottos. It is also perfect with fresh cheeses and goat's cheese.
