If Lambrusco is the undisputed lord of the red grape varieties of the Parma hills, white wines are often produced with an aromatic grape variety of great pleasantness, which on these gentle slopes knows how to give life to fruit rich in aromas and flavours. After harvesting at full ripeness, the grapes are quickly delivered to the winery to be transformed by white vinification. This is followed by a long process of sparkling in autoclaves and bottling. The result is a fresh and pleasantly aromatic white wine with a deep straw yellow colour and a rich, persistent perlage. On the nose it is easy to recognise the distinctive traits of the original varietal, with notes of flowers and roses alternating with those of sweet fruit and yellow peach. On the palate, however, it is fresh and well supported by a long, pleasant finish.
