Western Cellars

Western Cellars is a fine Californian winery. It is located outside the common Napa or Sonoma area, as its 25 hectares of vineyards are located in the Lodi area, one of the most unique in Northern California. While Californian viticulture is world-renowned, the Lodi area in central California's San Joaquin County is one of the state's most important wine regions. The wine industry here has a long history dating back as far as 1850. Production is varied, thanks to the Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. But Lodi is particularly known for the production of the Zinfandel grape, which is the region's flagship variety and yields rich, robust wines.
