La Versa

Founded on 21 May 1905, Cantina La Versa immediately distinguished itself for its ambition to cultivate prized Pinot Noir, a grape variety of exceptional quality destined for the production of sparkling wines of the highest level. The winery is located in the heart of the Oltrepò pavese, a wine-growing region rich in history and tradition. Here, the environment is particularly favourable for quality viticulture, thanks to its temperate climate and varied soil composition. Since 1930, the Pinot Noir of Cantina La Versa has been earning prestigious awards, catapulting the winery onto the international scene. Then, in autumn 2019, La Versa became part of the Terre d'Oltrepò Group. This integration has enabled the winery to consolidate its position as a point of reference in Italian sparkling wine production.
