Founded in 1996 by the Lucca entrepreneur Agostino Lenci, Fattoria di Magliano was born from a passion for an area that is still unspoilt and rich in wine-making potential. Lenci, fascinated by the wild and unspoilt Maremma, invested in the creation of a winery that would respect and enhance the surrounding environment. The estate covers 97 hectares, 48 of which are dedicated to vineyards. The main varieties cultivated are Sangiovese and Vermentino, together with international vines such as Merlot and Petit Verdot. The soil, which is sandstone with a significant presence of stones, guarantees excellent drainage and gives the wines a marked minerality. In addition, an innovative drip irrigation system optimises water use, especially in drier years. The farm's wines are distinguished by their strong territorial identity and a style that combines tradition and innovation. They are powerful and elegant wines, capable of offering an enveloping sensorial experience and a great taste-olfactory impact.
