Familia Zuccardi is an Argentine winery with a strong family tradition that began in the 1960s when Sebastián Zuccardi's grandfather, engineer Alberto Zuccardi, planted the first vines in the Maipú region of Mendoza. Today, Sebastián, the third generation of the family, leads a young agricultural and winemaking team committed to producing high quality wines in the Valle de Uco. Since 2008, the bodega has had an area dedicated to research and development, where terroir and the variables that affect wine quality are studied. The goal is to produce wines that best express the place and the region. The bodega was inaugurated in 2016, built with natural elements such as local stone and concrete, following the truncated conical shape of the piles and amphorae used to make the wines. Familia Zuccardi now represents one of the main landmarks of Argentine viticulture.
