The history of Château Malartic-Lagravière dates back as far as the 17th century, when Count Hippolyte Maurès de Malartic, Admiral to the King of France - bought Domaine de la Gravière. It was only in 1997 that the property was sold to the Bonnie couple, originally from Belgium, who took the decision to invest in the estate, renovating it entirely. Today, it is their son Jean-Jacques who runs the estate, with the help of the famous oenologist Michel Rolland. This is one of the reasons why the wines of Château Malartic-Lagravière enjoy great admiration from connoisseurs all over the world. The Château cultivates its vineyards according to the principles of sustainable agriculture and is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale Level 3. Its vineyard covers 71 hectares, with vines on average over 30 years old.
